With the news of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan; we remember the one that hit September 29, 2009 in Samoa while we served our mission. 
It was devastating; thousands lost their homes, and over 130 lost their lives.
The missionaries went back to check their home and chapel that was destroyed.
They watched the damage of the tsunami waves from the hill behind their home.
Businesses and people were very helpful with food, water, and manpower.
We realized how helpless we are; how much we need our Heavenly Father; and how much he truly does love and care for us. Our hearts go out to those in Japan. We will pray for them, and give donations to help.
