Amaryllith

 In "Music Man" young Winthrop tries to tell Amaryllis he doesn't want to come to her party.  Because of the "s", because of his lisp he cannot pronounce her name correctly; and it comes out Amaryllith.  I thought of that movie each time I saw my Amaryllis.

We gave Amaryllis bulbs to friends and family in the month of December.  It was very difficult  to give them away, because I love flowers and wanted to keep all of them.  I had one left, decided to plant it, and a few days before Christmas it began to bloom, and bloom, and continues to bloom into the new year.  I think there will be 12 blossoms in all.  I am thrilled.  "What a party to watch my Amaryllith."
