A gift we could help in giving

We drove to the end of the road. In Sa'ilele, it ended in front of this fale (home).

We met this wonderful young adult, who could not walk, and his two sweet sisters.
The family showed us the beach. We talked about the church showing them our missionary name tags. They were of another church but knew of ours, because they had received a wheelchair for their son years ago from our church. It was now broken, yet the church's name on the back was still visible. Without this mobility their son was now confined to sitting in the house. We left with a hope and desire to get him another wheelchair.
After trying many options, we talked to our mission President, who obtained a wheelchair, had it sent to us, and we, with a Book of Mormon in hand, along with Elders Tuala and Talosaga delivered it.
Three great missionaries took it out of the box, from our church charities.
We all held our breath as his family helped him into the chair.
Yes! It worked. It fit.
Elder DaBell put the foot rests in place.
Elder Talosaga took him for a spin in his new wheels.
He was so pleased, and so were we. Christmas doesn't get any better.
