“Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: "What! You too? I thought I was the only one.” ― C.S. Lewis

Danny and I went to visit 3 of my favorite people.
Bonnie was suffering with cancer and actually died a few days later.  We are grateful for memories of Bonnie as nursery leader for our children years ago.
Marguerite is originally from Switzerland, immigrated to Canada and then the United States.  She speaks 4 languages, and is very grateful to live in America.  What a great reminder.  She walked to church until a terrible fall down the stairs a year ago.  I tell myself, "If Sister Jost can walk to church,  I can too."
I want to grow up and be like this woman.  Even at the age of 90 she has an incredible memory.  She hand writes over 100 Christmas cards, makes strawberry jam and grape juice  from fruit she grows and harvests each year.  South Salt Lake city selected her to be in their 2013 calendar as an influential person in the community.  She collects people's discarded clothing and other household items, and then distributes them to others in need.  She give compassionate service daily.  She makes quilts, collects stamps, sews, cooks, gardens, and  checks on her neighbors.   I'm smiling because that is how I feel in her presences.  Heavenly Father blessed me by having our paths cross.  Thank you Evelyn DuVall.
