Ode to the lovely library

Was it Benjamin Franklin that started libraries?  I will be sure to thank him in the next life.
We pay our yearly library tax and then I pay it almost again with my overdue fines.  What am I thinking?  I don't feel so bad when I know it goes to such a good investment.
I usually put books, audio books, and DVD's on hold from the convenience of my home computer.  Unfortunately, I can only reserve 10 at a time.  But no worries, I use Danny's card also.  For someone who can't remember much, I have both our cards with 14 digits each memorized.  I have my priorities straight.
This dreary day, with lots of snow, I went to the library to (explore) retrieve my wonderful "holds".  It feels like Christmas.  My favorite genre is "true stories."  I always want to know, "Is it a true story?"  Is that really a genre?  I don't want to say non-fiction, because I don't care to read about spiders and such.  Actually they are kind of interesting but real stories about real people are what fascinates me.

Even this beautiful statue of children is a delight to see each time I go.
