Scoop the Poop

We live in a beautiful place - sunsets are gorgeous, and full moons are breathtaking.  That is - unless we have inversions.

We also have a 13.2 year old black lab.  I looked on-line to see how long they live - 12.7 years.  She is nearly blind and deaf, is loosing control of her bodily functions - but I love her just the same.

One reason we have inversions is because of the snow on the ground.  Here is where the two stories meet.  Because the snow won't melt, I haven't been out to scoop up Sally (the dog's) poop in two months.  If she goes twice a day, I have over 60 poops to clean up.
Well, today after church, before choir it was warm enough for some snow to melt.  I put on my boots, went out with plastic bags and found 47 poops - which is a start.
Before the day was through, it began to snow again.  Danny said as he went outside, "I don't think I'll start the snow blower, I'll just push it."  I don't know of anyone who just pushes their snowblower.
Besides that, tonight is a full moon, and I have to wait another month to enjoy it.  The white circle in the photo is snow - not the moon; but I can imagine.
